Our Story

S.T.A.G’s (Stay Tough And Game) inspiration and life originated from an idea by Neal Ramasamy, named after his favorite animal. At age 13, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. During an incredibly tough and brave 5 year battle, it was a deep desire of his to create a platform that shares with others the happiness that gaming & playing with his friend gave him.

Video games played a huge role in Neal’s treatment. They gave him a way to play with his friends, feel like a kid, and stay connected, even on the days he couldn’t walk or leave his bed. They opened up a whole new world of imagination and play.

Childhood cancer and serious medical conditions affect the whole family, and we know that deeply. Support is everything, and having a strong, caring community is what S.T.A.G is meant to be.

After Neal passed away in 2023, we knew we had to bring his vision to life. Our goal is to donate, support, and create experiences for kids and families in hospitals. More than anything, it’s about imparting Neal’s spirit and strength. His imagination, joy, and love for life are at the heart of everything we do.
