Our Story

S.T.A.G was my younger brother Neal Ramasamy’s idea. At age 13, he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. For five years, he fought an incredibly tough and brave battle.

Video games played a huge role in Neal’s treatment. They gave him a way to play with his friends, feel like a kid, and stay connected, even on the days he couldn’t walk or leave his bed. They opened up a whole new world of imagination and play.

S.T.A.G, which stands for Stay Tough And Game, was something Neal came up with himself. He wanted to create something that could help other kids like him feel that same joy. He even named it S.T.A.G, after his favorite animal.

Childhood cancer and serious medical conditions affect the whole family, and my family knows that deeply. Support is everything, and having a strong, caring community is what S.TA.G is meant to be.

After Neal passed away in 2023, I knew I had to bring his vision to life. S.T.A.G was created to carry out that mission. Our goal is to donate, support, and create experiences for kids and families in hospitals. More than anything, it’s about continuing Neal’s spirit. His imagination, joy, and love for life are at the heart of everything we do.
