Mira Ramasamy
Mira Ramasamy is a rising fourth-year student at Northeastern University studying Health Science on the pre-medical track. She is passionate about patient-centered care, nonprofit leadership, and the intersection of healthcare and community impact.
Mira founded STAG (Stay Tough And Game) in honor of her younger brother, Neal, who passed away in 2023 after a courageous battle with osteosarcoma. Neal was her best friend and greatest inspiration. During treatment, video games gave him an outlet, a way to escape, connect with friends, and feel like a kid again. Neal came up with the name STAG himself, and after his passing, Mira committed to bringing the idea to life. As President, she leads the organization’s vision, partnerships, and programming with the goal of directly helping children in treatment feel joy, connection, and comfort. Through STAG, Mira is dedicated to building a lasting legacy that reflects Neal’s light and spirit.

Shawn Ramsamy
Shawn Ramasamy is a rising junior at Morristown Beard School. As Co-President of STAG, he is focused on expanding the organization’s impact locally and continuing its mission in the community where he and his siblings grew up.
Shawn is the younger brother of Neal Ramasamy, the inspiration behind STAG. More than a brother, Neal was his best friend. They shared a close bond, especially through video games, which remained a constant source of connection throughout Neal’s treatment. At STAG, Shawn brings a personal commitment to honoring Neal’s memory and is currently exploring his own interests in technology as a way to support and grow the organization’s work.

Ria Shah
Ria Shah is a rising third-year student at Northeastern University pursuing a combined major in Biology and Business Administration. With a strong interest in healthcare innovation and organizational strategy, she brings both analytical insight and mission-driven leadership to her role at STAG.
Ria has been involved with STAG since its founding and currently serves as Vice President. Her connection to the mission is deeply personal — she knew Neal, the inspiration behind STAG, since they were six years old. Over the years, Neal became one of her closest friends, and witnessing the role that video games played in his treatment shaped her understanding of how comfort and joy can support healing. At STAG, Ria helps lead strategic planning, partnerships, and event execution, with a focus on expanding the organization’s impact while honoring Neal’s legacy.
